the entire page is all goofed up, normally when this happened I cleared cache to get back to what I know, well
it's not fixing the issue and this pisses me off, now it looks like google which stuff all over the place

hopefully it's on their end but what I see they retooled the entire layout and I hate it

I know, I'm having the same issue. Yahoo tried to make changes that did not go through on all computers and they are oblivious of it. Seems they have no intention of fixing it. I called yahoo on the phone twice. I spoke with two different Asian females and neither could fix the issue. One hung up the phone and sent me to the survey without bothering to even try to fix it. I didn't even bother with the survey. I might call them again. When it's night here it's day time for them. Maybe their day time crew is better skilled.

I just use google for searches; chrome and MSN as well.

I just talked with someone at yahoo and they said they are updating the yahoo pages and emails batch by batch. Some people have the old email, and some people have the new email. Some can use the "search" on the homepage and some cannot.

I don't remember there ever being a warning that the email wold be changing, but the new layout looks cool.

The lady at yahoo just let me know that the changes will roll out batch by batch starting January 30, 2025 - March6, 2025.

Here are some codes you can type in that will help until then:
for ad blocking - SLN-28635
see new mail layout - SLN36709

Hopefully that helps until they update your batch. Until then we need to pack our patience.

I run ad block plus so that is not the issue but the overall layout that I have known for 20+years has gone all batshit and I don't like it

They deleted my recovery account. I cleared the cache on the browser so then it demanded I log back in, but with the "send a code to the other email" which when I tried to log in, doesn't exist.

That made me super angry.

right now the site sucks, it won't load

if this is 2.0 it's horrible, they are trying a new database apparently

all we can do is bitch and maybe they will listen and allow you to switch to a legacy version

they changed the email layout too, I said keep the old style but they changed it anyways

edit: top go left and you will see return to old homepage and it works, for how long not sure

I've not seen a change in yahoo. Maybe it changed a while back or what, I'm not sure. Feels the same to me.

there is a way to revert back to legacy but for how long I can't say

I can fire up the homepage in 3 different browsers and they are the new version
with firefox I can revert back sure if I dig deep enough I can find it in others but big PiTA

as I seldom use chrome, edge or avast private browser it's not a huge deal really

I think it's the US version that has changed. I use the UK version because it gives some UK news which I wouldn't get otherwise.

say what? I don't see any swearing.......but I should because today yahoo's homepage even though I said no has changed to their new version I don't like and they removed the ability to change it back
