Has it escaped the attention of readers that the press has this damned habit of saying officials? They said officials said about Russia gate, and that turned out to be false. They say misleading when they themselves mislead.

There you go, a us official said. They always talk about Trump and he is an official. Who the hell is that official? Does that make him honest?

Since deep throat, democrats figure all they have to do is make unsubstantiated allegations and attribute it to 'officials' or an 'official on condition of anonymity.' Deep throat was the beginning of the end of journalistic integrity. It does not exist anymore. Anyone who calls themselves an objective journalist anymore is a BALD-FACED LIAR.
