...in one sentence?

What would your sentence be?

Paul once said, "Christ crucified."

Jesus is the Savior of the World and it is imperative that you follow his teachings and repent to be saved in the kingdom of heaven.

One word - Humility.
One sentence - Take care of the poor and the sick, welcome the stranger, and be kind to those in prison.

It fascinates me that this thread mostly attracted comments from those who seem disappointed in the Gospel messages and find nothing inspiring. There are so much that Jesus brought us: We are loved by God as a loving father loves his children. God's kingdom is within the reach of everyone. Our sins are forgiven. Upon our death we can look forward to resurrection and new life. When we hunger and thirst for what is right to come into our lives, we will be satisfied. God's grace is upon us and with us. Prayers are answered yet it is important to trust in God's will as we pray.

Those who dismiss the Gospels: Has your life never been touched by those...by someone...who lives by the Gospel message(s)?

While lacking belief in the supernatural, I do believe a man named Jesus existed and often "professed" much useful wisdom such as "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you". That's why I highly recommend reading John Fugelsang's book which reveals much regarding "the Gospels," including the rarely credited three women who accompanied Jesus the most. Paul/Saul, for example, never even met Jesus.
