Instead of listening to or watching the most disgusting liars in human history -- The Media. Talk to people that have been there. I would never recommend you go there yourself. And you don't need to take my word for it. I admit I'm biased.

Talk to others that have spent time there. Not soldiers because they often hate where they're stationed. Especially if it's a 'Hardship' or Combat tour. Not somebody that went on a guided tour. They're even more uninformed.

Talk to somebody that was there as a Contractor or an employee for a period of time. At least 6 Months.
