What If Joe Didn't Drop Out Of The Race?

Would the media have been able to persuade democrats to not believe their lying eyes when Biden's mental condition became evident during the debate?

When the debate was over, jill took joe by the arm & lead the feeble old codger down the steps...It must have taken them 10 minutes to walk down 5 steps.

I really thunk THAT is what did him in! It was sad!

Let's get real here. If the DNP thought that Biden had a chance in hell of beating Trump they would have stayed with him. But instead they dumped him like used toilet paper, which was a clear indicator of the reality of Biden's chances to win. It's is true that those same democrats are woefully out of touch with the voting public and it's true we'll never really know how it would've turned out. But IMHO it wouldn't have mattered either way.

The Democrats never had a prayer.

I'll never believe another poll

He would have fallen down the stairs of AFO and broken his neck....thus disqualifying himself even though few would be able to tell the difference.

The democrats in this forum would certainly believe the media.

Not a single one has any power of observation.

What the Democratic Party believes, is one thing, what Biden believes is another matter.
And I tend to agree with him, that it was very likely for him to win the election - however certainly depending on whom he would have chosen as Vice-President.

Meh....
I think the pain and suffering Americans suffered under Puppet Biden and the Democrats was too much and they were more than ready to flush the democrats, bidet included. Americans may be dumb, but they certainly can feel pain.

Biden's own internals had Trump winning 400 electoral votes.

Pushing it off to Harris was a hail mary pass.

I am torn about this. On one hand, Joe had to go. His disastrous debate performance had everyone rightly questioning both his mental and physical ability to withstand another four-year term. On the other, had he stuck it out, he might ultimately have run a better campaign and kept the focus on building a strong economy unlike Kamala's bizarre fixation on abortion access, which is, I feel, a very big part of why she lost.

Well that and the fact that Kamala was never a very charismatic, likeable person to begin with.

:auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: pain and suffering - Americans, yeah sure

Go and talk to some Palestinians, Iraqis, Vietnamese, those 911 victims, or Ukrainians if you want to bring up terms like pain and suffering.

A lot of Americans got sick and tired about Lefty/Libs propagating woke principles, patronizing minorities and incompetent administrations of the past decades, that never managed to implement a proper immigration policy, and US corporations selling out the US workforce to make more profits elsewhere, and that's about it.

Pain & Suffering :cuckoo:

Actually, the abortion issue is why Democrats did very well in the 2022 midterms.

Joe's mental fitness was the issue in 2024, and the last minute tapping out with Harris wasn't a good look.

The thing about the economy was that Joe had failed to talk it up, so Trump was able to gaslight people into thinking 5% average inflation was somehow worse that 1 million covid deaths and 15% unemployment.

Biden's squat to shit during the D Day memorial went a long way to doing him in. If not that, the biting attack on children ended his campaign.
