What I don't miss about Philly

When I go to AC, I drive down the Garden State Pkwy. instead of driving through Philly, which is the shorter route. Not that there aren't nice places in Philly, there are. But Philly is like just about every other large city, dirty and dangerous.

Huh.....Looks like the neighborhood you had to go through to get to the DuPont paint plant back in the 80s.

Can you believe semis had to try to go down those narrow streets to get to the plant? It was a total cluster ****.

Truth be told it was not that clean back then either. Just an old-ass rundown city.

The City Of Brotherly Love hasn't shown much love for many years. Time to change their slogan to something more realistic like, "The City Where Brothers Kill Brothers".

And this is a fairly clean street:

The outside is more cosmetic and would still cost. It is the inside that may be nasty as hell. Plus illegal electric, natural gas and water hookups may exist. In row homes, yours may look passable and the next-door neighbor's may be a fire trap. And that affects your home also.
