Who named Aristotle? Talk about convicted, he died in hiding on a remote island. The Western world credits him for being the foundation of science. Since we rely on Aristotle so much, take time to learn about this great man. Check him out from time to time if time for you is short. It will be a valuable source for you to work with. This link will guide you on your path to knowledge.

Mihly Munkcsy - Christ on the Cross 1884 - (MeisterDrucke-110769).webp

He is a good one. So is Galileo. Charles Manson as well. Churchill. Ghandi

historians and social scientists identify numerous major and minor instances of societal collapse that led to losses of technology, knowledge, and population in specific regions at various times.

  • The Late Bronze Age Collapse (c. 1177 BCE): A widespread systemic breakdown where numerous interconnected kingdoms (Mycenaeans, Hittites, etc.) in the Eastern Mediterranean vanished within a generation. This event resulted in the loss of writing systems, a disruption of complex trade networks, and a general "dark age" for the region that lasted centuries.
  • The Fall of the Western Roman Empire (476 CE): The collapse in Western Europe led to a significant loss of infrastructure (e.g., aqueducts, roads), a decline in urban populations, and a reduction in scientific and administrative knowledge, ushering in the Early Middle Ages, sometimes referred to as the "Dark Ages". The Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire, however, persisted.
  • The Classic Maya Collapse (9th Century CE): The complex urban centers of the Maya civilization in the Southern Maya Lowlands were largely abandoned, leading to the cessation of monumental construction and a decline in their sophisticated calendar and writing systems.
  • Alexander’s Library gone
  • Lost knowledge in ancient China spans destroyed texts from Qin Shi Huang's book burnings, missing sections of vast encyclopedias like the Yongle Dadian, forgotten Shang Dynasty technologies (e.g., complex bronze casting, written characters), and obscure social/governance systems from early dynasties
These events highlight that while overall human knowledge and technology have generally advanced over the long term, individual societies and entire regions have frequently undergone periods of significant and sometimes catastrophic regression. The causes are often multi-faceted, involving environmental factors (climate change, resource depletion), internal issues (political instability, inequality, disease), and external pressures (invasions, trade collapse).

Even Aristotle. What was lost?

  • Dialogues: Works like Protrepticus (Exhortation to Philosophy) and dialogues on ethics, politics, and beauty, praised by Cicero, are gone.
  • Poetics, Book II: A lost book focusing on comedy, a major gap in understanding his aesthetics.
  • Scientific & Philosophical Treatises: Many works on physics, logic, ethics, and natural history, including On Prayer, On the Soul, and On the Pythagoreans.
  • Political Works: Treatises like On Kingship and On Education, likely written for Alexander the Great, are missing.

Jesus Christ is by far the most famous convicted criminal that has affected the world the most.

It’s not even close.

Very good. Can any democrat explain why they utterly hate Jesus?

Because they have been taught that Jesus is going to condemn their friends and family to some sort of terrifying afterlife Purgatory or Hell environment?

Former Covering Cherub Helel is extremely good at doing Wrap Up Smears, even on his Creator!

Jesus was not a criminal. His followers made us aware of things said by Jesus. A lot of sayings simply are guesses.

What is so strange about Democrats is they really are ignorant about things claimed Jesus said. Were they true students, they would be happy to support Jesus.

You are absolutely correct Robert W.

But I have to plead guilty to being terribly ignorant and confused on the information that could well lead to Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus being adopted by the nation of Israel and even by the political left.

I've done a lot of research on all of this but I have gotten to the place that all I really have now are theories... and schools of thought..... and conflicting and seemingly contradictory information.

I strongly suspect that Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus and his cousin John the Baptist, were members of the Essene community.

"The Father said to me one evening in my time of meditation, “You wonder that people other than the Jews have the secrets of the Kingdom as well as you. As you have been instructed before, the secrets of the Kingdom have been given to many people, but to no one in their complete form, so that each, seeking in their own way, may gradually come closer to me, but no one group can say, ‘I have the secret and you are excluded.’ Indeed, any who say that, have already put themselves outside of the Kingdom, because the Kingdom comes by Love, and Love is a working together. Love is not exclusively for one group.”

“In the end of the Age, peoples from all parts of the earth will bring their knowledge together and will find the Inner Way to me by working together. So, read and know what has been given to others, that your knowledge may be complete and you may be able to come to Me, all working together in Love.” (Bruce F. MacDonald Ph. D.)

"You do not understand this life, he said on a later occasion, so you do not understand what you can achieve. You think that you were born and die and have only the time in between to live. The Sadducees do not even believe in the resurrection. And the Pharisees and Essenes believe you are saved or damned on the basis of what you do here in this life.

So you judge and condemn others and forsake love in order to enter heaven. Yet I tell you that the Father has many heavens and many homes for you. This is not your only life, and these are not the only things you have to learn. You will have lives in other times and places.

Do not judge the gentiles? You may have been a Gentile. Do not judge the prostitute You may have been a prostitute. Do not judge the Roman or Greek? You may have been those.

"The Father wishes you to know the life of the world in all its conditions so that you may be able to love those in all conditions. He wishes you to learn poverty and wealth, weakness and strength, sickness and health so that, in all these, you may seek Him and find Him.

Is He the Father only of the righteous? No, he is Father of all and Mother of all. All may come to God and find the love appropriate to their condition. Are you poor? Learn to love your fellows. Are you rich? Learn to give of your surplus to those who have nothing. Are you in a place of power? Learn to use your power for the good of others. Learn the love appropriate to the condition you are in and all conditions will become blessed. (Bruce F. MacDonald Ph. D. page 117,118, The Thomas Book, Near Death, a Quest and a New Gospel by the Twin Brother of Jesus"

I would love to help you get the understanding you wish to get.

My suggestion is to get very close to understanding what Mormons believe.

My suggestion is to get very close to understanding what Mormons believe.

I was mentored by fourteen or so Latter day Saint Elders and Sisters since 2018. They were impressive to say the least.

I was really impressed by how the LDS Elders and Sisters, [by video during C o v i d 1 9], prayed and asked for guidance before every session in which they mentored me.

I feel that perhaps I am supposed to become more and more and more and more "Jewish" in what I am learning and thus, I really did not feel that I could put enough time into The Book of Mormon to do it justice.

Jesus was not a criminal. His followers made us aware of things said by Jesus. A lot of sayings simply are guesses.
His conviction makes him a criminal.

from the perspective of the religious and Roman authorities of his time, Jesus was considered a criminal; he was tried, convicted, and executed for what they saw as serious offenses like blasphemy (claiming divinity) and sedition (claiming to be "King of the Jews," a threat to Roman rule). To his followers, however, he was seen as a divine figure and his execution as an unjust act, a sacrifice, or an act of rebellion against oppressive systems, not as a true crime.

Charges Against Jesus:
  • Blasphemy: Jewish leaders accused him of blasphemy for claiming to be God's son, which was a capital offense under Jewish law.
  • Sedition/Treason: The Romans charged him with sedition, specifically for calling himself "King of the Jews," implying rebellion against Caesar, a political crime punishable by crucifixion.
Perspectives on His Status:
  • As a Criminal: The historical record shows he was legally condemned by both Jewish and Roman authorities, who saw him as a threat to their power structures.
  • As an Outlaw/Rebel: Some view him as an outlaw or freedom fighter challenging the status quo, especially since he ministered outside the temple and among the poor.
  • As a Martyr/Savior: Christians believe he was falsely accused and willingly accepted the punishment as an act of ultimate love and sacrifice, making him a divine figure, not a mere criminal.
In essence, his "criminal" status was defined by the systems he challenged, while his enduring legacy is seen as one of spiritual significance.

Jesus never said he was the king of Jews. He was accused and said back, you claim he is the king.

Donald Trump.

Now that is an awesome answer indeed!

What famous convict has impacted the world the most?

I might have said George Soros, but he remains free of /conviction/ in lieu of his vast wealth to continually evade prosecution.
