Keith Olbermann’s Ratings Fall In Week 2, But No Worries – Yet – Deadline.com
Ratings for Current's new incarnation of Countdown With Keith Olbermann were bound to fall in the show's second week as the curiosity factor wore off and people began their July 4 vacations. Still, the numbers from last week are bracing: Olbermann attracted an average of 93,000 viewers in its target 25-54 demo, down 29% from the first week. The total audience, at 253,000, was down 28.5%. The numbers account for people who watched the 8 PM ET broadcast live, or the same evening on their DVRs.

How far the mighty mouth has fallen

BTW, the ONLY decent show on Current TV is 'Bar Karma'... GOOGLE it.

I'm not sure what happened to him after Dan Patrick stopped carrying him on Sportscenter. I heard a rumor he was calling CFL games in Canada?

He's on a network nobody watches, stealing the "Countdown with" title from Chris Mathews.

He moonlites on the Las Vegas strip handing out escort service pamplets to tourists.

Its brought up the ratings of current TV.

He is the reason msnbc has most of the people they have right now.

He built the station back from the brink and will likely improve this one greatly too.

In other words, he's like that stubborn turd that clings to the side of the toilet. :eusa_whistle:

No hes a news reporter that many Americans trust.

You want him gone because you dont agree with his take in the news.

That is your level of commitment to freedom of speach.

Yes, "America" trusts the "news" reporting of Olbermann.

I'm all for this freedom of "speach" you speak of. I just prefer my news to be an honest reporting of facts instead of one man's personal opinion. You see, I don't mistake Olbermann, Hannity, Maddow or Limbaugh as "news". He's free to say what he wants, regardless of how wrong he may be. The market will sort them all out and it looks like Olbermann went from bad to worse.

He's not a reporter, he's a commentator. He doesn't do news. He does opinion.

With spittle around the edge of his mouth.

And a vein bulging in an alarming fashion in his forehead.

Dude's gonna stroke out one night.

That statement alone earns you the official title of 'Boards Dumbest Poster'. Congrats.
