Interesting essay. Revolution buff here.

On this Patriots Day, I say reading all you can about the American Revolution is about a rewarding an endeavor as you can imagine. The Revolutionary Army far from sprang into a fighting force overnight. In one early battle General Washington thought they were ready, but when the time came the men shrank back and wouldn't attack, and Washington sat alone a hundred feet in front of them, bolt upright, with bullets whizzing by. He wrote later he was so ashamed he was hoping one would catch him and put him out of his misery. His aides had to gallop forward and pull his horse back to the line.
The single classic on Washington by all accounts is the Flexnor, "The Indispensable Man" if you only have time to read one book. It is a thrilling read.
It is a fact that Washington was known for taking terrible chances, and it is a miracle he never got hit. Even he said so. But somehow he whipped them up, and the Colonials finally struck fear into the Redcoats. They did well enough at the Battle of Lexington, Patriots Day, a day-long skirmish when we chased the Brit bastards back to their base in Charlestown. Hundreds died on both sides, with the Minutemen picking them off from behind trees and fighting the way the Indians taught them. . But after that, American victory was far from guaranteed. Somehow the Greatest American got through to them that the British did not just mean to defeat them, but annihilate them, and their families, and everything they loved. We sit at a similar
crossroads I think.
Hillary, Liz Cheney, Marc Elias, Adam Schiff, and the rest of that treasonous ilk whose very names make me want to vomit will do it all again, and will be better at it and will learn from their mistakes, if we don't put them in jail and break their standing in the public eye.
They don't simply oppose you. They hate you, and see you as nothing but animals, just as the Redcoats saw the Colonials. Look at what they did to the J6ers, 99 percent peaceful.
They are Royalists and elitists. They feel the same even about their supporters. The deluded fools just don't know it yet.
We got you the White House, Mr. President. We got you the power. This is not what I voted for. It's like the Marines doing their job and taking the beach and now it is the Army's turn, but they are standing frozen and looking in fear at the jungles where the Japanese are. Let's channel General Washington, and give the message straight to the president and his men and women. ATTACK YOU BASTARDS! ATTACK!
What Did George Washington Do with an Army That Wouldn't Attack? We Gave Them DOJ, FBI, and the Trumps are Standing Wide-Eyed in Fear at the Redcoats
