We can't help but personalize the universe because that is how we are wired.

So, the question begs, why are are wired this way?

Maybe because their is a personal God who made us in his image perhaps? In fact, anything you or I create is a reflection of ourselves, is it not?

In reality, if there is a God who is impersonal, such a God is already dead to us even if such a God exists, in which case, who really cares?

There is no hard wiring .
The vast majority might be entrained and Mind Control conditioned , but a huge number—- including me — are not .
In fact we find those who are laughably naive and silly .

And because we are Universe , we interact constantly as I know from personal experience .
That is how it is , though it may take you many incarnations to realise that start point .

We all have a conscience and similar needs such as love.
