COLUMBUS, Ohio — Dozens of solar panels caught on fire on the roof of an Amazon facility in West Jefferson, which prompted an evacuation on Wednesday.

According to West Jefferson Police Chief Brandon Smith, several agencies responded to a report of a structure fire at the Amazon facility located at 1550 W. Main St around 12:10 p.m.

Go solar they said, it's perfectly safe they said.

In before they blame the electrician.

That is usually the cause of solar panel fires. That, or electrical faults.
It doesnt exactly happen a lot either. Like .006% chance of it happening.
