This is the end result of capitalism. If you are a fan of capitalism, this is a desirable result, right?

50% of this country has 2.5% of the wealth. Top 10% have 2/3 of all the wealth.

% of Americans ------ Wealth

0.1% ---------------- 13.5%

0.9% ---------------- 16.7%

9.0% ----------------- 36.5%

50-90% ------------- 30.8%

Bottom 50% ------- 2.5%

This is why people like me despise corporate welfare.

I am supposed to NOT support AOC when she said "no tax breaks for Amazon" because it would make me what, a socialist? The irony of it.

Give tax breaks to smaller companies who could use an incentive to employ people. Stop handing out gobs of money to massive corporations.

THAT is how capitalism dies as it stifles competition and picks winners and losers. That's the Canadian caste model and it seems Americans are embracing it more and more each day.

And the rich control the government, get policies put in place that help them to succeed and make it much harder for smaller businesses to succeed, all while telling smaller businesses how much they're doing for them.

This is not pure capitalism, it has a generous helping of social programs, and a bloated out of control government that is controlled by a central private bank. True capitalism would be much worse, there wouldn't even be the imaginary controls we have today, and the corruption would be even worse, if you can even imagine that. What do you think the distribution should look like?

No, this is an end result of crony corporatism, that is far closer to British West India Company mercantilism than real laissez-faire....These also are the people who finance the political party whose asses you can't swab with enough gusto.

Corporate welfare is inherently anri-capitalist.

A well run small business makes it on their own....When they fail start looking at the ownership and see how many are propped-up by women and minority loans they should have not got in the first place.

That said all bets are off in blue states/areas where small business are mostly killed-off by over-regulation by state and local governments and their high taxes.

The leftists and socialists are so cute in how naive they are. They actually believe that all of this is by accident.

Big Beautiful Bill.

I have a different point of view than your whinny ass does when it comes to the success of the 66% of the county. Those 66% are being rewarded for there educational background and their hard work. You bleeding heart Leftist's should try it sometime.

I'm super-duper right wing, try again?

If you think your lot in life is harmed by other people succeeding, you are an idiot. Leftists are incredibly stupid and uninformed. They know nothing about economics, civics, biology, climate science...the list goes on and on.

If voting required that every prospective voter pass the same simple Civics test that immigrants must pass in order to be naturalized, the Democrats would never win another election.

Do you think it's possible that trillionaires like Soros, Musk, Bezos, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet etc accumulated all that wealth and power under the nose of the deep state without some assistance and attachments? Not very likely, pilgrim.

Looks like most billionaires are in Blue States with the most in California and New York. Both, heavily Democrat controlled and most socialistic.

The difference is in Russia or other socialist/communist countries, the poor have no way out of their poverty. The bottom 50% have to be on welfare stuck their forever. In a capitalist country, the poor have an opportunity to dig themselves out of welfare if they want to. The problem with socialism is there is no incentive to not be poor. And, the top earners are in bed with the government who want to keep the poor, poor.

Here's what you are missing. The Trump effect. How trump is destroying unnecessary regulations across the board which will grow entrepreneurism. The American experiment is about individual freedom to take care of one's self and family. Democrats want cradle to grave government control over the individual rights and freedoms.

Most people are lazy and lack the initiative and/or intelligence to achieve anything beyond the stature they were born into.

without some assistance and attachments?

Assistance from the deep state? Hell, ever since the law makers made foundations tax shelters? It's those types of folks ARE the deep state.

. . . and it was these builders of empires that got such "philanthropic," organizations that status. . and entangled them with the IC community in the first place.

. . . and now? oh my. . . my my my my, the situation is truly dire. . . .
