Watched last night, overall it was a decent movie.
The way the movie constantly flashes between the years of their short marriage, the viewer loses connection with it. Just as you start to get into a scene, they flash to another scene - might be a year back, or a year forward. You never really connect to a cohesive story.
It has some very good moments, but they are surrounded by a poorly executed story.
Also - to me Andrew Garfield wasn't the right actor. He doesn't have the chops to play opposite of Florence Pugh, who is a much better actress. She stole every scene she was in, and he was just there to be a character for her to act with.
All in all, if you are subscribed to HBO - go for it, you may like it. The audience reviews are all over the map on this one.
