we had a family party sunday and the kids came up with this game

everyone put in a buck and blew up a balloon with their name written on it.
They then got out the rumba and taped 2 needles to it and then squared it off in the area of the balloons.
The rumba went around popping the balloons and the last one got the 32 dollars

32 people at a party and the only popping sound was balloons? Doesn't sound like much of a "vibrant" party to me.
