We do need to deregulate what the consumer can have! Their is too much red tape and that is the truth. It isn't just energy production but also what you the little guy can have. I look at these red states and they limit ebikes to 20mph and 350 watts? Like wtf? A few even require you take test? wtf? My state allows up to 1000 watts and 28 mph!!! That is the way it should be and if Trump cared about deregulation he should push for a federal allow to allow it. Driverless cars? Funny how the only places you see these are in liberal blue cities? You'd think if these red states where for personal freedom that they would allow them and it would be easier to own one in these republican states. Time for deregulation! This would help disabled people be able to get around their red state! Next how about allowing flying cars and jet packs? Lets deregulate and make them a reality for the normal tom, dick and hairy!!! Like to see red states start acting like they value personal freedom for ***** sakes. It would go along ways in convincing me the value of your economic model. We all know what your party cares about and it isn't the little guy and our freedom.

I want to see red states promote real freedom and deregulation!!!

DEREGULATE!! :2up:

I bet you don't have an issue with states like California regulating the shit out of gas burners.

Driverless cars cost more than rideshare. people on disability are better off with lyft. Plus depending on your disability having no driver to help you may be and issue.

No shit, I'd love to have some of the tubro-diesel PUs available in Japan that we can't get here like the 4X4 Toyoda Hilux....Just a long bed base model would be fine.

The rounds on that belt are blanks.

You are correct, sir. I noticed that too and came to the conclusion that it was set up for the purpose of taking the picture. I also noticed there wasn't a blank firing adapter on the muzzle and doubted that blanks would even cycle the action, so I asked AI, and lo and behold:

"No, 8mm blanks will not reliably cycle an MG-42. While the MG-42 is chambered for 7.92x57mm Mauser (also known as 8mm Mauser), blank ammunition typically has a significantly reduced powder load compared to full-power cartridges. This reduced power is often insufficient to operate the MG-42's recoil-operated action, which relies on the force of the fired cartridge to cycle the bolt and eject the spent casing.

Here's why:
  • Reduced Powder Charge:
Blanks are designed to produce a loud report and a visible flash without propelling a projectile. This requires a smaller powder charge compared to live ammunition.
  • Recoil Operation:
The MG-42 relies on the recoil force of the fired cartridge to operate the bolt mechanism, eject the spent casing, and chamber a new round.

  • Insufficient Force:
The reduced force generated by the blank round may not be enough to reliably cycle the bolt and reload the gun, potentially resulting in a malfunction or a failure to fire.

  • Special Belts:
Some ranges may require special belts to hold blanks for feeding into the MG-42, and even with those, reliable function is not guaranteed, according to a gun enthusiast on Quora.
Therefore, while the MG-42 may chamber and fire 8mm blanks, it's unlikely to cycle reliably due to the reduced power of the blank ammunition."

We need more regulation. California's Prop 65 warning stickers should have a warning that warning stickers can cause Californians to get cancer.

Those are regulated? I have a couple big shopping bags filled with every type and wattage of light bulb commonly used.
They were giving them away towards the end clearing the shelves for LEDs.
No LEDs for me, despite being given a bunch of them.

I've only fired gas operated machine guns and they have to use a blank adapter to fire on automatic.

The MG-42 is recoil operated does it need an adapter ?
