Here are six points highlighting how the United States is better off now compared to four years ago:

1720867448703.webp

  1. Economic Recovery: The economy has rebounded significantly since the pandemic-induced recession in 2020. Unemployment rates are at or near record lows, and the stock market has seen substantial gains12.
  2. COVID-19 Progress: While the pandemic remains a memory, vaccination efforts have led to widespread immunity, allowing for a return to normalcy. The country has learned valuable lessons in public health preparedness.
  3. Renewed Global Alliances: The U.S. has reengaged with international partners, strengthening alliances and addressing global challenges more effectively.
  4. Infrastructure Investment: Recent infrastructure bills aim to improve roads, bridges, broadband access, and public transportation, enhancing the nation’s long-term competitiveness.
  5. Climate Action: Greater emphasis on clean energy and climate policies has positioned the U.S. to address environmental challenges and transition toward sustainable practices.
  6. Social Progress: Advances in LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, and gender equality have contributed to a more inclusive society. Attacks against these rights have, though, included Dobbs and moves to interfere with contraceptives.
Opinions may vary, but these points highlight some positive developments over the past four years,

Democrats must not be allowed to do that again.

You wiped your ass with a coffee filter?

Before or after you perked?
.

Right? The only people using coffee filters for personal hygiene were the very stupid ones. I shared my TP with them because I had realized many years prior to -- ahem -- covid, that such a thing WAS going to happen eventually.

.

Opinions may vary, but these points highlight some positive developments over the past four years,

1) Economic recovery after the quarantines is largely due to government borrowing and spending. The truth of the numbers is not being told and is an accounting trick. Usually a criminal offense if private citizens and companies did this.
But we have had 40-50% increases in the cost of EVERYTHING while wages/incomes have increased only 5%...meaning most are unemployed or underemployed.

2) Covid: The fast track vaccine development by President Trump was helpful....but it also exposed the huge mess at the FDA. Faucci flat out lied while every good research scientist did a face palm. Covid is still not done. It's still mutating. More variants are everywhere. The end of this won't be seen for 100+ years.

3) International Relations are at an extreme low point. We have war between nations and mercenaries playing havoc all across the planet. Some countries have had a coup because of foreign mercenaries taking the wealth of that nation for their own pockets. Every other voting nation is voting out any government that behaves anything like what Biden has behaved like.

4) Infrastructure? In spite of huge increases in utilities we still have crumbling dams, roads with potholes so big they can swallow entire vehicles and bridges collapsing because there are no inspectors to inspect them. Meanwhile Farm Credit is endangering our food supply by consolidating farms and arm in arm with corporate America instead of normal people doing farming.

5) Climate Action. Killing the retail auto industry for a pipe dream was disastrous. Instead of working towards making commercial vehicle usage more efficient (who uses over 70% of all fuel) they attacked the consumers instead. And instead of promoting viable technology they promoted products that are unviable and unlikable. On top of this many communities could have been dropped from having emissions testing for vehicles....but the EPA refused to allow it.

6) Social progress? If government funded Child exploitation and sexual abuse is considered progress....I want no part of it. The clown show coming out of Washington DC with military men in women's clothing is despicable and has our enemies laughing at our moral turpitude. No fear or respect whatsoever.

Oh....I'm not better off in the slightest....I'm surviving when I should be living....huge difference.

JohnDB wants to complain instead of hustle his butt like we all have all of our lives.

He is in the vast minority, and voting for serial adulterer and perv business failure convicted 36 times felon wannabee dictator will fuck everybody.

DB, you better think about yourself.

Nope wrong on all counts.

I'm A-Political to begin with. Not really a fan of politics to begin with....and I have never liked either of the two candidates. I didn't think much of Trump when I lived in NY in the early 90's and still don't today. I was pleasantly surprised at his presidency but I wouldn't characterize it as delight overall. Just that he did a few things that I liked.
Biden though has been a noted liar/plagiarizing theif throughout his political life.

And since you brought up the topic....
I have worked since I was 14. Paid my own way through two degrees in college by working manually my whole life. Electrician, Chef, Bakery Coffee shop owner, CDL Driver, B2B Salesman and more.

Not looking for a free ride. Just want a place for me and my family to live without the Government ruining the place....or urinating on me and tell me it's raining.

You’re such a liar.

You’re such a liar.
Who would lie about any of this?
The truth is nuanced and flat....never changes. Lies are unlimited and usually fantastic. This is all highly credible by anyone who knows me...I can back this up with detailed inside knowledge of each.

I'm even pictured in 5th edition revised of The New Professional Chef (textbook for Culinary Institute of America and used nationwide for several years....we had clean uniforms that just got issued so they took our picture and used it)
