A Washington farmworker activist has been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Alfredo Juarez, also known as Lelo, is being held in the Northwest ICE processing facility in Tacoma, according to the agency's records. Juarez is a longtime activist for Washington farmworkers and advocate of immigrant rights, according to the union UFCW 3000.
Community to Community Development, a Bellingham group, says 25-year-old Juarez was arrested in Sedro-Woolley on Tuesday morning while dropping off his partner at work.
The organization said ICE agents "broke his car window when he tried to exercise his rights." KING 5 has reached out to ICE about why Juarez was detained, but have not yet heard back.

When he was younger, he got a $100k settlement over a lawsuit over a traffic stop. Now he moved on to being a activist.
ICE doing its job getting shed of the worst of the worst.....Illegal activists.
