All of the policies and programs of the Left are venerated as the golden standard and never questioned or properly assessed.

The media and academia go right along with their cult.

And, of course, because of that they never go away. We are stuck with them, unless they make them bigger and badder than they were.

I have to say that I agree and also had my life saved by medicare. But after heart surgery, I then added medicare advantage. I have to assume the drugs prescribed to me also saved my life and they amount to many thousands of dollars.
