The Latin Credo says .... genitum, non factum
The English Creed says.... begotten, not made
The German Glaubensbekenntnis says .... gezeugt, nicht geschaffen

But some say, Jesus was created.

His mother gave birth to Jesus. Who got her pregnant is the question.

Then, who birthed/created God?

I say, "We'll find out when we get up there".

Yes by changing the meaning of Genesis to create original sin and the fall of man from the moral teaching of man to Mans Trial for Freedom. Christians needed an idol a god with a face, name, and personality to replace the abstract god of the Jews. They used Satan and Hell to threaten obedience. Ut was in the beginning a cruel violent religion. The killed the Gnostics and persecuted Jews for centuries. What saved them was their belief in the 10 commandments. It just took them 2000 years ti understand them.

.

So many questions that we will not have answers to, until we get there.

.
No, it really is not that difficult to be honest.

Jesus said that before Abraham was, I was, letting them know he existed long before being born into the world as a baby.

Secondly, God created the material universe, i.e. time that went along with it.

So, the question is not when was God created? The question is, when did God create time which was created once God created the material universe?

Naturally, we have no concept of existence in such a dimension as that, but then, we are only familiar with the 4 dimensions of our present world.

God is beyond space and time.

We believe in the Holy Trinity -- one God with three aspects.

So, Jesus is also beyond space and time.

My question is, the material universe is continuously changing, so as such, does it really exist at all?

Eventually it all stops and ends.

It's called entropy.

So really, what is "real" and "eternal" made the material universe which is not.

God created time as a dimension for us on earth. Day and night. But the eternal clock that everybody else is on, i.e. God, Jesus, angels, demons, Satan, doesn't exist in our linear time frame. It is hard for us to fathom.

Jesus said that God was the source of his being. Any being whose source of existence is God cannot be God.

God the Father is the father of our spirits. We all existed prior to being born into this world. See my post, "Did you exist before you were born in this life?". God's firstborn child in the spirit was Jesus Christ our Lord. He then became a member of the godhead. In this life Jesus was the only begotten son of the Father and also one of the children of Mary. Before we were all born of God the Father as his spirit children, we were self-existing intelligences that were not created or made and neither indeed can be.

Doctrine and Covenants 93:29
29 Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be.

The Son, that Second Person of the Godhead was never created. He always existed as God with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

That Son, that Second Person of the Godhead, became a Man, Who we know as Jesus Christ. The God/Man. 100% God and 100% Man.

The Son as a Man did have a beginning, when born of Mary.

Render Therefore Unto Caesar

Mary was raped by a Roman soldier. The shock made her have delusions. By that time, the Roman Emperors were declared to be gods. This is what made Jesus become an agent of the Romans, who taught him special techniques to make him appear to be a faith-healer.

Tempus Fugit

Time is not a dimension. It has no extension. It comes into existence and then is gone. By intelligent grammar, the future and the past cannot exist, which is present tense.
