After a successful campaign focusing on the copilot's possible mental derangement, it seems like the case was solved, everybody went back to their business not worrying about the potential threat of an airplane being cyber hijacked.
Well, could it be that the real reason for the crash was suppressed?
Consider the patent for "Airliner irreversible-control anti-hijack system"
Patent US20030163232 - Airliner irreversible-control anti-hijack system
Most planes are fly by wire systems anymore and equipped with irreversible anti hijacking systems. The A 320 is also equipped with irreversible-control anti-hijacking system.
FLIGHT CONTROL: Boeing's 'Uninterruptible Autopilot System', Drones & Remote Hijacking
Abel Danger: Abel Danger: Boeing Uninterruptible Autopilot - Letter to ALPA
Abel Danger: #1945: Marine Links Serco 370 Sim-Track to Obama Crossed Keys Red Switch Hack
Disclosure of a (possible) cyber hijacking would irreparably damage the reputation of Airbus and consequently French and German economies in which countries Airbus has major manufacturing.
