What do people mean by that communism really a break down of traditional order what order? I see people say number times communism really a break down of traditional order?

Also what is the difference of communism vs socialism vs social democracy/Democratic socialism?

Why do lot of liberals or left seem to like socialism?

In Communism, the family is replaced by the State. The State takes care of you, cradle to grave...sees you get food, employs you, manages your day-to-day affairs. In theory, at least. Of course, in theory is the only place Communism has ever worked.

Not much.

Socialism: An Economic and Sociological Analysis

In the terminology of Marx and Engels the words communism and socialism are synonymous. They are alternately applied without any distinction between them. The same was true for the practice of all Marxian groups and sects until 1917. The political parties of Marxism which considered the Communist Manifesto as the unalterable gospel of their doctrine called themselves socialist parties. The most influential and most numerous of these parties, the German party, adopted the name Social Democratic Party. In Italy, in France and in all other countries in which Marxian parties already played a role in political life before 1917, the term socialist likewise superseded the term communist. No Marxian ever ventured, before 1917, to distinguish between communism and socialism.

They want to be taken care of, cradle to grave. Also, they want people more successful than they are punished by the State.

CUSA is still around and the communist conspiracy still advocates the violent overthrow of democracy. What else do you need to know?

no one says that

Commmunism is by definition a philosophy which requires the destruction of all societal institutions and replacing them with new ones

Not the same as a " break down "

I would say that instituting a philosophy that that requires the destruction of all successful societal institutions to replace them with failed systems is a "break down."

What do you mean by societal institutions? What societal institutions?

Don't know. I was quoting and referring to the other posters postulate. Since communism has failed everywhere it has been used it would seem to stand to reason that whatever institutions he was referring to that were being replaced were superior to what replaced them. That equates to "break down."

No, break downs are usually the result of entropy. Like when part of a car goes bad and the car breaks down.

When a person causes desruction to replace something it is a deliberate act of violence

OK. I accept your hypothesis. As you show, establishing communism is a deliberate act of violence.
