He says the future for china is not good

Bad for china and bad for America to the extent that our economy is tied to china

How long have we heard the "any day now" predictions on China's economy?

Those predictions are ringing about as hollow the "we got him now" Trump predictions.

Buffett should know by now that China, unlike the US, can manipulate their economy at will.

That said uncoupling from depending on any other country is always a good thing.

Chinas economy is in decline. Every communist economy reaches a tipping point when it fails. Thats what happen to the USSR and Cuba. Government controlled market fail because the government cant control a market. An economy must control itself with minimal government. Explain that to democrats.

No disrespect to the man but he is wrong here. I've heard for the last 20 years, on and off, that the crash is inevitable. After Evergrande collapsed and news about these mega ghost cities, experts said the collapse is any day now. My question is do these so-called experts know that the US is the biggest stimulant for the Chinese economy? The US is also building the Chinese military. Until US companies can completely get out of China, then there is a good chance to see a collapse. China needs US dollars. Rubles, Rupee, and Pesos are worthless to China.

The crash is not COMING

Its already here

And china is trying desperately to hide it

Like I said, as long as US keeps on funding the Chinese economy, it's not gonna happen. To see a real crash, Europe needs to play along. Europe and S. America too are complaining about China's dumping practice. If the West wants to crash China's economy, war is the answer.

You are not listening

Buffett is pointing out that China is experiencing an economic crisis from within

I don’t think any one on the board watched the 30 minute video. If you’d like to give me the Cliff notes, great. If not that’s cool too.

I get it

The lib geniuses on USMB are too smart to listen to dumb ole Warren Buffett

Buffet is saying the same shit experts have been saying for the past two decades. No disrespect to the man, but I believe he's slipping up there a bit. We know the CCP has been cooking up their economy for decades. Why nothing is done about them you say, especially the relentless currency manipulation? Because corporations with powerful lobbyists told Uncle Sam to back off or no pie for you.

True. China would send 1 million people to look for a grain of sand if that gain gives them competitive advantage.

Buffet is a lib himself

Things change

In the 1990s and till 2020 the CCP wisely allowed private enterprise on a massive scale

That has been reigned in precisely because it threatened the power of the communist party

But why should I bother begging libs to listen to the smartest investor on their side?

If you wont listen to him you certainly wont listen to me

That's because it's the same materials rebranded. You see, China US playing smart here. The country is out making deals such as securing strategic ports in other countries in exchange for financial support. Therefore shipping companies must pay China a fee and the money keeps flowing. The only way to crash their economy is decoupling, which US companies are hesitating to do because...money flow. Even Trump can't do much. The next Democrat gets in office, it's back to as is. Democrats, like Second and Third World leaders, cannot resist Chinese cash.

I think having you on the one hand praising china and its bright future, or a self-made billionaire who is hailed as one of the richest men on Wall St warning me China is due for a fall, I will respect his opinion over yours
