I really don't know why I continued to watch it except we kept thinking it would get better. Sigh, it just got worse.
The only reason I watched it in the first place is because I've always been enthused with the whole War of the Worlds saga going all the way back to when I read about the old Orson Wells 1938 radio broadcast back in school and the panic it caused.
The 1953 movie got me hooked.
