Except you have the course of event drastically wrong. First, Hamas was building tunnels under Israel and was planning a massive attack. Second, the three Jewish teens were brutally murdered, then the poor Arab teen was killed in a counter attack (this murder was actually more vicious and just as regrettable). After the Arab killing the Hamas missiles started flying.

Can you tell us, Mr. R.C., why you seem so obsessed with Israel on this Middle East forum yet never can say anything about what is happening to your fellow Catholics in the other Middle East countries? Don't you even keep up a bit about what is happening?

I'm not a Protestant or a Catholic, but I've opined many times about the murder of Christians in the mess America created in Syria, Iraq and so on. Nothing can be done about it but it pisses me the hell off because I'm a big fan of Christians.

The UN should make it a protectorate and station international troops with tanks, arty, you name it, inside Gaza to thwart the terrorists and put some of the Israeli sociopaths and Hamas psychopaths into an impossible political situation that neither can do much about militarily. Of course, that will never happen. Business as usual. We'll see the same thing happen again in a few years.
