Wanna be a cop? Think twice about that

Seems to be open season on cops these days.

Sun, February 28, 2021, 10:35 AM
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Three Wichita, Kansas, police officers were injured by a shotgun blast when they checked out a vacant home, authorities said.

Wichita Police said Sunday that “a modified, loaded shotgun” discharged as the officers entered the home around 4 p.m. Saturday. Investigators determined that no one in the home at the time, but the homeowners had called police suspecting someone was inside after noticing that some windows were open.

Police said two officers remained hospitalized Sunday with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening. One officer was in serious but stable condition and the other was being treated for minor injuries. A third officer who was hurt was treated at a hospital Saturday and released.

When you're a cop you just never know when you time is up. Tough job and dangerous as hell. Moreso it seems, recently.
Hmmm, is the bullcrap starting back up since Trump has left the building ???? Someone needs to keep a running tally on how stupid this nation will get under Democrat leadership. If the inner cities are any indicator, then we are all in for one hellava ride.

I hope they catch the effers that setup the booby trap. I'm thinking a lot of cops have been and are going to be retiring as soon as they can, and many more will be looking for another job where they ain't such a target. Across the country, cops are leaving the force in significantly larger numbers than in years past. Can't blame 'em either. And here's the problem with that:

Fewer cops = More crime of all kinds
True, Task.

There is a cure for the Defund Police Movement atrocity. VOTE REPUBLICAN!

:thanks:

The way that police have been demonized and unsupported by their politicians has set up a situation where the job will be unattractive to quality candidates who have choices. The caliber of the police force will inevitably drop. So, true to form, these liberal policies and actions will make the situation they claim to want to improve much worse.

Why because they don't support killing unarmed folks. Serve, protect and break a nword's neck. The old Slave Patrol.

Letting everyone who wants a gun have a gun is not making police jobs very attractive these days.

No, because 39,000 regular folks are killed with guns, and the reason why cops are so fucking trigger happy is because they never know who has a gun.
Come on now. If you going to try and make a point at least represent the data correctly. Out of those 39k almost 24k were suicide, and another 1.3k were accidents. I dont think you can use suicide numbers when discussing gun deaths. Fact is if people want to commit suicide they will find a way if the gun wasnt available.
