‘After a Seattle immigration judge dismissed the deportation case against a Colombian man — exposing him to expedited removal — three people sat with him in the back of the courtroom, taking his car keys for safe-keeping, helping him memorize phone numbers and gathering the names of family members who needed to be notified.

When Judge Brett Parchert asked why they were doing that in court, the volunteers said Immigration and Custom Enforcement officers were outside the door, waiting to take the man into custody, so this was their only chance to help him get his things in order. “ICE is in the waiting room?” the judge asked.

As the mass deportation campaign of President Donald Trump focuses on cities and states led by Democrats and unleashes fear among asylum-seekers and immigrants, their legal defenders sued this week, seeking class-action protections against the arrests outside immigration court hearings. Meanwhile, these volunteers are taking action.

A diverse group — faith leaders, college students, grandmothers, retired lawyers and professors — has been showing up at immigration courts across the nation to escort immigrants at risk of being detained for deportation by masked ICE officials. They’re giving families moral and logistical support, and bearing witness as the people are taken away.’

Very good.

More Americans need to stand up to and oppose the fascist Trump regime.

More Americans need to stand up and oppose the fascist democrats aiding and abetting criminals illegals.

Otherwise, Ms. Jones, the orders from your fascist party are clear.

Democrats told to "get shot" for the anti-Trump resistance

You’re just “resisting” the orders from your politburo mouthpieces, you keyboard pounding, fascist coward.

Nobody complained when concerned parents were arrested and labeled terrorists for talking back to the administration at school board meetings. The A.P. never complained when mom and pop Jan 5 demonstrators were sentenced to four years in prison for simple trespass (if that). Now they label criminal aliens with the polite "migrant" term while they assault ICE officials who are just doing their job.

Meaning the man was an illegal alien with no right to remain in the US

Another fake asylum seeker bites the dust

Libs open border scam fails again

Another group of people who need to be dealt with, just the same as the immigration attorneys. You cannot serve two masters and if you’re helping these sub-human scum you cannot also be a true blue American Patriot.

It would behoove them to stay the **** out of the way of ICE doing its job.

All Americans should obey our laws especially where, as here, those laws are eminently fair and reasonable.
