^^^ If that is all true, I can't help but wonder who made the first move. I only know that one child is a special needs person, and his mom is the person who gave statements, but did not want to be named in order to keep her son safe.

Where do they find this stuff? They don't hire school bus drivers to be referees in a student fight and most adults today are aware that they can be charged with a crime if the fighters are members of a protected segment of society.

We can't find adults anymore to do any of these jobs. We're a lot closer to societal breakdown than anyone understands

In my city school bus drivers are told not to intervene and to just call police. I couldn't be a school bus driver (for a number of reasons), the main one being if I saw kids beating up on another kid, I would intervene and beat the crap out of the perpetrators. I'm sure I would be in jail for it, not the perpetrators.
