Officers find a girl passed out in her car at 3:00 am. When they awaken her, it's hard to understand what she is saying.....


WTF. She didn't drive. She was sleeping in her car. If I was her, I just would have asked the cop what he was charging her with. She shouldn't have agreed to anything.

I heard that. However, why did she have to start the car in order to roll down the window? It is a technicality, but had she removed the keys from the ignition and dropped them on the floor, there would have been no case. I would be interested in hearing what the final outcome was. I think it was a stretch at best.

Actually, no. If she is passed out and the engine is running then she has control of the car. Even if she drops the keys, the officer has video of her passed out with the car running, keys in the ignition.

I watch a lot of these videos and that is normally the outcome. Not agreeing with the officer, but he makes the rules here.
