Back in 2001, I saw an interview by a journalist of Bill Clinton. He praised Bill for what he called his "stewardship of the economy" in the 1990s.

The President has no authority over the economy. The Constitution gives him none.
The Executive Branch is responsible for enforcing the laws made by Congress and that's all.

Journalists are supposed to inform the public, not mislead them.

Any useful journalists get bullied out of journalism in the process.
