I was at the gun shop last week and a guy came in with an AK. The owner asked how much he wanted and he said $400.00. The owner looked over at me and I nodded.
He used the money to pay on a lay-away M1C Garand and he left. The owner asked if i wanted it for $550.00 so I bought it. It's a $900 AK and well reviewed.
It has a milled receiver and a walnut stock set.
As it sold.
It was way over-scoped and I did not care for the Yugo-style P-grip. That said the Midwest Industries mount and Crimson Trace scope was worth $600.00 by itself.
I pulled the scope (I'll use it elsewhere) and put a 4X SKS scope on it and installed a Magpul P-Grip.
