Looks like the US is going to ban the Chinese from buying US farmland...
Trump administration moves decisively to block China from 'weaponizing' American farmland
After the Chinese have already bought-up a great deal of acreage in the vicinity of US military bases...
It looks like the Feds have finally gotten their heads out of their a$$e$ in this context and begun to do something about it...
Will they face court challenges regarding Constitutionality?
Will they make it retroactive and force the sale of acreage ALREADY owned by the Chinese?
Does this actually apply to ALL foreigners, or, at least, others, on a selective case-by-case basis... not just the Chinese?
I, for one, am very glad to see this finally materializing, but there are probably a great many 'landmines' to be dealt with...
It will be interesting to see how this one plays out...
