The US military strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence assessment that was described by four people briefed on it.

But...but I thought it was "obliterated. This goes to show you, not a word coming out of this WH vcan be believed.
I don't put any stock into CNN for any truth. Better assessments I've seen are set back 3 to 5 years. I think it is much longer. They no longer have the infrastructure to make a bomb. They have to go back to the beginning and develop it.

I put as much weight in this WH as I did the last, but this one has not lied as much as the last one at this point.

the OP is posting leftist opinions and wishful thinking ..

the DOD and the IAEA says otherwise ..

‘An initial classified US assessment of Donald Trump’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities over the weekend says they did not destroy two of the sites and likely only set back the nuclear program by a few months, according to two people familiar with the report.

The report produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency – the intelligence arm of the Pentagon – concluded key components of the nuclear program including centrifuges were capable of being restarted within months.

The report also found that much of Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium that could be put to use for a possible nuclear weapon was moved before the strikes and may have been moved to other secret nuclear sites maintained by Iran.

The findings by the DIA, which were based on a preliminary battle damage assessment conducted by US Central Command, which oversees US military operations in the Middle East, suggests Trump’s declaration about the sites being “obliterated” may have been overstated.’

You should be happy. In your eyes, the attack was unjustified, so i dont see why you are complaining about the nuclear facilities not being completely destroyed. You should be ecstatic.

We can revisit this. Netanyahu 2026.

"Iran is only weeks away from a nuclear weapon".

Also on CNN: "Joe Biden is as sharp as a tack, and is completely ready to serve another four years as Commander in Chief!" :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg:

Good report from MSNBC quoting US PENTAGON INTELLIGENCE sources. Trump is very bigly lying to us again. The NATO meeting in The Netherlands going on now will be laughing their asses off behind his lying back!

While the sites targeted by the US few days ago suffered major damage, the Iranian ability to pursue a nuclear weapon is barely altered because the components are spread around the country in many different locations.

The Iranians can resume enrichment activities pretty much any time.

Associated Press is reporting the same thing!
