Back in reality, Russian casualties outnumber Ukrainian casualties by about 3 to 1. That's what results from an army that treats soldiers as cannon fodder. So, 300k dead Russians, 100k dead Ukrainians.

While Ukraine does well, it can't escape unscathed. Russia is known for its massed artillery, and even if their aim sucks, saturation fire takes a toll. They send in the orcs to draw fire, then shell wherever the return fire comes from. Rinse and repeat, until they finally conquer the rubble.
