It's the period of the Big Ugly and they possibly do not appreciate they are simply moving the battle round the corner .
Trouble is, apparently pragmatic solutions come back to bite if that is the way it has been programmned by Universe ..

These students won't get kicked out, they're paying private school tuition. They university isn't going to say goodbye to that money.

Both groups that were suspended are liberal pro muslim and anti Israel

If they kick out the Jews they lose money and if they kick out the Muslims they get blown up.

Or they can just continue with ineffectual responses to unacceptable behavior against school policy, while opting for continuance of their business model, above any duty by what used to be a leading academic institution, that saw students graduate on a career path to leadership positions in society, whether that be in a positive or negative direction.
