Trying out new places and new food is always a main theme of our travelling and this past week was no different.
We spent some time down at Fort Myers Beach area.
We found a new combination I would have never thought of.
It was oven roasted cobia over a bed of banana infused lentils with a blueberry gastrique and flash fried kale.
I almost did not get it due to the banana infused lentils, but they were maybe the best part of what was an amazing meal. Even my wife who does not like lentils like these.
It was just a subtle flavor of banana but it was unmistakable.
