Texas is a republican state and the governor is republican

it is the states policy that he approved

Since this may includes illegals and even people who have done the paperwork and allow to be in Texas.

they are not told that even given the paperwork , you still cannot vote because of your classification to be in the US.

the governor can now claim that he caught X amount of people trying to vote

So 46 states does this except the 4 listed. I going to exclude territories and other classifications.

I think some of the states are trying to correct this by checking voter roles.

As a matter of fact, Texas found 1200 illegals that are actively voting (and other states are finding similar results), but when prosecutions are brought up, the Democrats scream bloody murder.
