First, cyclical violence has been going on since the invasion of Zionist terrorist gangs in the 1930s and 1940s so Hamas' retaliation for decades of of Zionist persecution, genocide and land theft didn't "start" on October 7, 2023.
Second, Netanyahu and his henchmen knew about the Hamas attack over a year before it occurred, got repeated updated warnings beforehand yet they even pulled troops away from the area Hamas said it would attack in a video that Hamas made and produced for all to see. (1)
Why did this Israel leadership pull troops away from the locations Hamas intended to attack unless they wanted the attack to occur and have an excuse to destroy Gaza, exterminate / expel its residents and seize Gaza as another part of the "Greater Israel" Zionist delusion?
It would not be the first time that Zionists have sacrificed the lives of other Jews for "Greater Israel":

Next, Israel doesn't "give" Gaza's captive residents anything.
It maintains a blockade to restrict the outside flow of food, medical supplies, water, medical professionals, journalists and any other eyewitnesses to Netanyahu's Gaza genocide.
The determination of Israel's genocidal Zionists to starve Gaza's residents is so extreme that a failed pier had to be built in an attempt to offload relief supplies.
It is ironic that you mention something about Gaza's residents "whining" about no " food, water, fuel or electricity" when the Holocaust Industry's very profitable Holocaust pity mongering remains unrivaled when it comes to such selective whining.
