Now we are supposed to add our own commentary here on why this should be discussed but I have to say, I'm at a bit of a loss for words.

The UN is going to try and dictate our economic policies to us? What we are doing should have been done years ago. What will the UN have to say or do to help out when inflation is 20%? 75%?

The U.N would be the first to encourage and adopt policies that would hurt Western economies, such as shut downs, massive spending, debt etc, then try to control how (once?) sovereign nations respond to their own poor policies.

From what I got out of it they are worried about "the poors".....Ha! I bet nary a one of them has to worry about eating cat food.

the UN has pretty much gotten rid of their middle class via taxes, now they are coming after ours.
