Every day the AFU takes another village, and Russian milbloggers confirm it. Over 100 sq. km taken back in a week, more than Russia gained in the entire winter offensive including Bakhmut.
Wargonzo this morning: "In the Vasylivka direction, our troops left the settlement of P'yatykhatky. Our artillery continues to strike at the enemy infantry, entrenched in this village."
Russia lost the commander and an entire (300+) "Storm-Z" battalion there. Russia fired over 100 TOS-1 rockets, which destroyed about 40% of the buildings. The AFU holds P'yatykhatky, and early reports are they are advancing to the east of the village now. There is fighting on the outskirts of Zhereb'yanky and Luhove.
Ukrainian losses since the beginning of the offensive, as of June 18:
5x Leopard 2A6 Tanks
2x Leopard 2A4 Tanks
2x AMX-10RCs
18x Bradley IFVs
The AFU is advancing slowly and methodically, and no matter how many times the OP declares the offensive has been crushed, they somehow keep advancing...
