You need to provide more context as I didn't click the link. I am not one who has ever purveyed the pages of breitbart and I shalt begin on this day.

A general context for those who are stakeholders need to understand, JD Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy have articulated it well in different formats:

Europe has provided the beauty and creativity of man through the centuries. The epicenter of literature, art and advanced economic and social concepts that promoted freedom, love of G-d in defense of these freedoms, the overthrowing of monarchies and abusers of power.

It has also been home to some of the worst of men, cowardly, indifferent, banal in their execution of "their duties", callously unconcerned for their fellow mans beliefs or freedoms.

It is the latter paragraph which I seek to understand.

The incident which is of world shattering importance( NOT) sounds like a Comedy of Errors and the parents seem to be a couple of obsessive nutters .

Don't let our minor quibbles stop you from watching your lovely land slipping down the plug hole .
