I'm surprised because he's up against some pretty stiff competition in BYD.... The Chinese car company who has basically surpassed everybody technology-wise with more to come.

Rumor has It that Tesla has acquired several of their vehicles and is now reverse engineering them. Oh well that's how the cookie crumbles the Chinese invented that after all didn't they?

Let's see what happens on the 29th.... So far three hapless domestic enemies are being charged with domestic terrorism with another dozen or so in the works. I wonder if people have the balls to the risk that kind of jail time for a political belief?

Don't Bank on Elon Musk failing I don't think he's going to fail. I actually think you're going to witness creation of the world's first trillionaire.

LOL, I think Japan did it--VW/BMW horizontal opposed flat motor--Gold Wing. Moto-Guzzi's V twin transverse motor--Honda's CX series. Harley Davidson V twin--Honda's ACE. Japanese are masters at reverse engineering and making their product better than the prototype. Hell, HD even sued them because the ACE had the same "sound" as the Harley. There's an old joke about the Japanese inventing a car during WWII and calling the Germans to ask what they should call it. The Germans asked, "How soon to you need it?" and were told "tomorrow?"
