Yeah, it's ugly, worn parked finish, but mechanically it's just fine. I only gave $350.00 for it so i can't kick too much.

It came with two Colt Mags and a Chip McCormick mag.

It's a first year production steel framed pistol.....A few years later they dropped the steel frame for an alloy frame. As best as I can tell the parked finish was just used for one year.

After I cleaned and properly lubed it I took it to my range and ran all three mags through it....No issues, and it shot just fine.

I was thinking of having it re-parked but decided to leave it as is.

Always wanted something in 45 ACP and a1911 design, maybe some day.

The most accurate 9mm I've ever owned was a Star Model B. It was basically a 1911 but in 9mm. It shot the tightest groups I've ever had with a 9mm pistol. The way the barrel flops around when the slide is pulled back on a 1911-style pistol makes you think otherwise, but that design is well-known for its accuracy.
