UChicago English Department Accepted only Black Studies Concentrators

Ironically, the policy may have helped those students who were told to "go copulate themselves".

There really aren't many jobs out there in writing literature and poetry that require a degree, regardless of the genre.

Many of those who ended up getting approved for the program are pouring coffee at Starbucks while many who were rejected switched their majors to industrial engineering or proctology, and are making a good living helping people who have problems with their buttholes.
So true, I’m not sure there are many professional jobs for someone with graduate-level training in Resentment for Whites.

Why? A white person concentrating in black studies could apply.
The point is the ONLY English graduate program offered by U of C is “Black Studies.” The university is not interested in training people to teach basic English composition to high school students.

We need people who can teach our kids to read and write. Most are performing below grade level. And yet….this liberal university chooses instead to indoctrinate more blacks into feeling oppressed, hating “colonizers,” and thinking they’re entitled to special favoritism.

You wouldn't necessarily major in English in preparation to teach the English language.

Every major has electives that are mandatory. Universities insert racial and gender studies in these electives to indoctrinate students. These courses are as practical matter useless. When I was at Temple I was forced to take an African Studies curse. The teacher was what hating racist who made comments like white people never nurse their babies, and time is white system I reject so I refuse to wear a watch. I had to pay 350.00 a credit for this trash.
