Obama has nothing to do with it. Romney will not fix it either.
That is incorrect.
Of course it is foolhardy to say this is Obama's fault - no less stupid than saying it is Bush's fault. But to say he has "nothing to do with it" - is incorrect.
His consistent speeches about "fair" taxation, Obamacare uncertainty, blowing $billions in tax dollars on corporate welfare and pet industries, giving most of the stimulus to super-banks...etc. etc. etc.
He has ignored the real problems, therefore all Democrats have ignored real problems - and the Republicans are only interested in trying to gain power - all of this has created a HUGE sense of uncertainty and an unwillingness of businesses to invest.
Capital spending and capital investment is at crushing lows..2011 for instance, capital investment was 40% lower than pre-recession.
Capital investment = new jobs.
No capital investment = no new jobs.
