I don't but if Ruth Ginsberg is forced out due to health reasons it would be impossible to keep in place our de facto ban on death penalties. This argument should be had in front of the court and the matter should be settled once and for all.

No it wasn't the Trump administration but something like this extends beyond any one administration. Any entity that defended the use of torture knowing it didn't work has no moral standing in ending the life of another.
