Things heating up in Wa. state.
I twill be interesting if Bondi is so bold as to arrest people for following state law.
After all, no matter how the Feds might rant..still, jurisdiction laws say it just is not a state official's job..to help the US govt. enforce an immigration arrest.
It would seem that they had an absolute defense--if that happened.
Now if anyone actually obstructs an arrest...they are breaking the law..and need to go to jail~

U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi is putting Gov. Bob Ferguson on notice. In an Aug. 13 letter, the country’s chief law enforcement officer told Washington’s leader to commit to complying with federal immigration enforcement efforts by next Tuesday — or risk serious consequences.
“You are hereby notified that your jurisdiction has been identified as one that engages in sanctuary policies and practices that thwart federal immigration enforcement to the detriment of the interests of the United States,” Bondi’s letter, addressed to Ferguson, reads. “This ends now.”

The letter marks an escalation in tension between the federal administration and blue states over President Donald Trump’s uncompromising
immigration designs. It was sent shortly after the U.S. Department of Justice published a list naming Washington state as a “sanctuary jurisdiction.”

The governor told McClatchy in an emailed comment Friday afternoon that he plans to share a more detailed reply with Bondi by the Aug. 19 deadline. “That said, Washington state has no intention of changing our values in the face of threats from the Trump administration,”

Ferguson continued. “The federal government’s relentless targeting of law-abiding immigrants is wrong.” Ferguson and Washington state Attorney General Nick Brown, who was copied on the letter, have consistently defended the state’s Keep Washington Work Act (KWWA) as both morally correct and legally sound. KWWA largely restricts local and state law enforcement from using resources for federal immigration enforcement and from sharing nonpublic information with federal immigration authorities.

I'm betting they are about to take some pretty broad interpretations on what "obstructing" means.

The corrupt Democrat Party has failed to attract the votes of mainstream voters, therefore they are trying to fill our country who poor uneducated third world welfare moochers who will vote Democrat.
The Democrats don't care if open borders is lawless anarchy.
Bondi is in violation of the Constitution – as usual.

There’s no such thing as ‘sanctuary policies’ – the Constitution prohibits the Federal government from forcing states and local jurisdictions to enforce Federal laws, including immigration laws.

The National Black Farmers Association is calling on Republican Vice-Presidential candidate JD Vance to apologize for comments claiming the Biden-Harris administration handed out farm benefits to growers based on skin color.

Vance appeared to be referring to payments made in July under Section 22007 of the Inflation Reduction Act to socially disadvantaged farmers who had experienced discrimination in USDA farm lending programs dating back to the 1940s.

In the comments made on CBS’ Face the Nation on Sunday, Aug. 11, Vance did not mention that Section 22006 of the Act had provided payments to all farmers experiencing financial stress almost immediately after it was signed into law in August of 2022. Section 22007 payments were not made until last month
