2 arrested after device thrown at anti-Islam protest in NYC

I wonder if those "arrested" will be given a medal?

Two devices were ignited outside Gracie Mansion, the New York City mayor’s residence, during a clash between opposing protest groups Saturday, police said. Two people were arrested in connection with the devices, which are still being analyzed.

The incident unfolded during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan outside the home of New York City’s first Muslim mayor, Zohran Mamdani, and his wife Rama Duwaji.

I fear these type of attacks may be only the beginning .. the left allowed a huge number of potential Terrorists to enter the US during their last 4 yrs in power ..

Given how NYC has turned out I sorta wish the US would have not "went to the mattresses" for them after 9/11.

They better be aware that this event might have been a misdirection to tie up resources being the Mansions importance protecting the Mayor and all could be a means to set up something big elsewhere in the city to do max damage. They need to be alert everywhere in the city and not spread their manpower thin by focusing large swaths near the Mansion.

They better be aware that this event might have been a misdirection to tie up resources being the Mansions importance protecting the Mayor and all could be a means to set up something big elsewhere in the city to do max damage. They need to be alert everywhere in the city and not spread their manpower thin by focusing large swaths near the Mansion.

I am not sure if that is still relevant today. The root of the problem is open border and the atrocious immigration laws. No amount of vigilant by TSA or port security can prevent attack on US soil if the border is open.
