Since the most recent update, I've noticed that full sized pictures are cropped in my signature line. So I've adapted by finding "banner" style pictures to fit. However, I'm also noticing a lot of other posters still using full sized pictures in their signature lines as if they're able to see the whole thing (I can only see the top portion). So my question is: Are only some members being effected by the new, minimized signature line or has everyone suffered the same thing?

My second question has to do with the amount of time I have to wait between posts. I used to get in "meme wars" with another poster. He/she was able to post three or four memes to my one because I had to wait a full 25 seconds in between posts. Question: Is every member of the forum subject to the 25 second rule or only a select few?

Suffice to say, the new style is forced onto everyone, even after when admin claimed it wouldn't.

I normally use a smartphone for the site so I have signatures switched off. The laptop is getting booted up soon for work stuff so I'll have a look.

Yes, it can take awhile to do another post. I've always wondered though if that time increases due to the number of infraction points you're on, but mods and admin never have a clue when you ask. I suppose we would have to go on the Xenforo site and ask directly on how the software works etc..

I've been on the 25 second rule since signed up. I figured it was because I posted too quickly. But I know that at least one poster has no restrictions because he/she was able to post three times to my one time. It's not the end of the world. I was just curious.

With the new changes I can't see mine, nor anyone's avatar pic over to the left above their names, but it's probably also this older browser I have that won't accept the changes.

I found that to be true with the new style and made adjustments. I went back to the old style format and noticed another posters sig line was larger than my modifications on the new style. I put my sig line back to where it was before modified it and it now it doesn't crop.

this might help:

scroll down to the bottom of the page & if you can click on
'style chooser ' that might clear it up. you have ' USMB office ' as the default, but what you want is ' stock Xenforo ' as the default for full size signatures. at least that's what i did & it worked.

that happens with me as well. not 25 secs, but at times 15, or 10 secs.

Maybe if USBM (this site) does something different the avatars will show up. I contacted yahoo about their new changes not showing up on the older browsers, and they fixed the glitch, so now yahoo is updated on the older browsers. "Thanks Yahoo" At first I could only use google to search, now yahoo updated their system for the older browsers, and we can use yahoo to search as well. Google will work on all old browsers.

Likewise, H&R Block says they have to account for their software being used on the older browsers as well as updated ones. They are familiar with what Apple is doing. Their software just says if you want to "enhance" your usage you should update the browser, but you don't have to.

We are trapped because "Apple" will NOT allow the older computers to have any browser updates. Apple was trying to force their followers to purchase brand new Apple computers every 2-3 years; turn them upside down until they emptied their pockets over and. We don't need a new computer. The one we bought years ago works just fine.
