"This is a stark reminder of the dangers of the job, the jobs that our officers go out every day to serve and protect our community and we're grateful for," Portland Mayor Keith Wilson said during a press conference.

Portland is a very "progressive" city, the police there do not get the respect they deserve.

I hope they get the shooter sooner rather than later.

The left demonizes the police and then pretends surprise by violence towards cops

Now, if they had been ICE agents, the mayor would have given the shooter the keys to the city and sung their praises.

As it is, it puzzling why the mayor is not celebrating the death of the fascists that maintain law and order, that is, what is left of it in Portland.

.

Troops headed to Portland as soon as Minneapolis calms down.

Thank God those officers are safe, although after the shameful way PPD behaved during anti-ICE riots, I shrug my shoulders.

Portland has a history of violence towards any law enforcement

Law enforcement's jobs are hard enough regarding putting their lives on the line. In liberal areas their lives are much, much more on the line, probably five times as much.
