Oh okay I don't want to go too off topic but I sort of feel better now because I might not have to make it up after all. I'll probably go back and watch them when I have time though. Mods I apologize for going off topic but I can't PM her.

Those cops were stupid to fire those rubber bullets at the kids when they are the ones who have a real loaded weapon in their possession! I wasn't surprised when I saw the boy who held the gun raise it up in what would have been self-defense on his part. Even if he had not raised it up like he did, he could've dropped it after being startled by the rubber bullet being fired at him and his gun could've gone off when it hit the ground and the fired bullet from his gun could've gone in any direction.

God bless you and the boys always!!!

P.S. Why couldn't one of the cops approach the kids calmly and politely ask that they hand over the gun? Sometimes the simplest way of doing things end up being what works best.

Don't you hate when people tell juvenile delinquents like this that they're not in trouble? If those were my kids then going to juvy would be the very last thing that they would have to worry about.

One thing I noticed is that this video is not recent. The cover is still on the air conditioned they are hiding behind and the leaves are not out on the foliage. The boys are also wearing long sleeves. The temps in NM are in the high 70s / low 80s.

They probably did not know if the gun was loaded or even real. That is probably why they tried to get the boys to cooperate.

Extremely good point. Any police officer would hate to shoot a child but unfortunately sometimes it's part of the job description. Sad, but true.

^^^ It was said during the clip that the authorities have been called to where the boys live 50 other times and that their dad is currently serving a prison sentence. I would like to know if those 50 other times were due to their dad or are any of the calls due to the boys themselves.

I think that this matter was addressed earlier here at one point, and I saw or heard it said in a clip that their mom never knew of that gun ever being in the picture in the first place.

God bless you and the boys and their mom always!!!
